The general tips for killing these Legendary Animals are easy to understand. Unmount your horse when you enter the Legendary Animal’s territory. When you enter the animal’s territory, a black box will appear on upper left screen.

Try taking your most powerful weapons and take a good amount of ammo. You can use Dead Eye once you reach the territory and follow the tracks to the Legendary Animal.

Another general tip is that you shouldn’t worry when shooting the pelt of the Legendary Animals as it won’t be ruined at all. After killing it, you can skin them to obtain items which you can give to the Trapper and make outfits out of it. If somehow the animal gets away then get out of the area then sleep 72 hours and come back.

1. Legendary Grizzly Bear
The Legendary Grizzly Bear in Red Dead Redemption 2 can be found in Grizzlies East in Ambarino. The bear will be in an open area north to the lake at O’Creagh’s Run. You first encounter this wild bear in Chapter 2 mission “Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego”.

The Legendary Ram can be found in Cattail Pound in New Hanover. The ram will be in the hills north to the railroad. The ram can be taken out with a few shots of a rifle. You can get the Legendary Ram Hide and Legendary Ram Horn from it.

4. Legendary White Bison
The Legendary Bison can be found in Lake Isabella in the west region of Ambarino. The bison will be on the north shore of the lake. Do take warm clothes with you because of the cold environment.

A good rifle will take down the big bison in no time. You can get the Legendary White Bison Pelt and Legendary Bison Horn from it.

5. Legendary Wolf
The Legendary Wolf can be found in Cotorra Spring in Ambarino. The wolf will be in a clearing west to Donner Falls and north of Fort Wallace. A single shot to the heart using a good rifle can kill the wolf. You can get the Legendary Wolf Pelt and Legendary Wolf Heart from it.

6. Legendary Moose
The Legendary Moose can be found in Roanoke Ridge in Ambarino. The moose will be in south to the Brandywine Drop and to the north of the railroads. The moose is quick so make use of your Dead Eye effectively. You can get the Legendary Moose Pelt and Legendary Moose Antler from it.

7. Legendary Beaver
The Legendary Beaver can be found in Butcher Creek in Lemoyne. The beaver will be southeast of Elysian Pool. Using a bow can also kill the beaver easily and not spoil the meat. You can get the Legendary Beaver Pelt and the Legendary Beaver Tooth from it.

8. Legendary Boar
The Legendary Boar in Red Dead Redemption 2 can be found in Blue Water Marsh in Lemoyne. The boar will be in northern edge of the Bayou New region. You will need a rifle with a lot of firepower to take this boar on. You can get the Legendary Boar Pelt and Legendary Boar Tusk from it.

9. Legendary Coyote
The Legendary Coyote can be found in Old Greenbank Mill in New Hanover. The coyote will be in the hills of Scarlett Meadow to the west of Dewberry Creek. Try to take out the coyote in one shot otherwise if you miss or don’t do a fatal blow it will be spooked and will run away.

10. Legendary Fox
The Legendary Fox can be found in Mattock Pond in Lemoyne. The fox will be to the north of Rhodes east of Southfield Flats. Everyone knows foxes can be cleaver so is the case here on miss shot can make the fox run into some bushes and you won’t catch it again. You can get the Legendary Fox Pelt and Legendary Fox Claw from it.

11. Legendary Elk
The Legendary Elk can be found in Bacchus Station in Cumberland Forest. The elk will be in the woods near the border of New Hanover and Ambarino.

The elk can be spotted easily but takes a few shots to take down so aim on the vital organs. You can get the Legendary Elk Pelt and Legendary Elk Antler from it.

12. Legendary Bullgator
The Legendary Alligator can be found in Lakay in Bayou Nwa. The alligator will be to the south of Lagras in the marshy swamps. The alligator is one of the strongest animal and can be a true pain to face.

The alligator can charge aggressively and tear you apart if you go unprepared. You can get the Legendary Alligator Skin and Legendary Alligator Tooth from it.

13. Legendary Cougar
The Legendary Cougar can be found in Gaptooth Ridge in New Austin. The cougar will be to the west of Tublewood. The cougar is a ferocious beast and can rip you apart without a thought.

Approach the cougar with ease and use Dead Eye effectively and take a semi-auto shotgun if it gets too close. You can get the Legendary Cougar Pelt from it.

14. Legendary Pronghorn
The Legendary Pronghorn can be found in Rio Del Lobo Rock in New Austin. The pronghorn will be to the east to Fort Mercer. You can use a bow and get a clean kill on it.

Try using scent remover so that it doesn’t smell you and run away. You can get the Legendary Pronghorn Hide and Legendary Pronghorn Horn from it.

15. Legendary Tatanka Bison
The Legendary Bison can be found in Mantra Falls in New Austin. The bison will be in Hennigan’s Stead south of Stillwater Creek.

The bison is a healthy animal and will take a few shots before it goes down. You can get the Legendary Tantanka Bison Pelt and Legendary Bison Horn from it.

16. Legendary Giaguaro Panther
The Legendary Panther can be found in Bomber Blade in Lemoyne. The panther will be in the woods south of Bolger Gate which is west of Shady Belle. The panther only spawns once you reach rank 9 of the Master Hunter Challenges.

The panther can rip you apart in close range so take a good shotgun. You can get the Legendary Panther Skin and Legendary Panther Eye.
