I use Eyevea Blue as the main color for my gear and on the leather pieces for bloodforge, it looks like a neon seafoam green instead of the dark teal I am looking for.
The shiny cloth elements are also quite jarring, as they take color well but the gloss is totally out of place. The cloth elements are all designed as somewhat rustic/basic looking (visible cross stitches, simple construction) but when even birch white looks shiny and bright as fresh driven snow, its a bit off putting.
Something I noticed some time back is that the leather elements of the Ebony motif take dye exceptionally well; colors are rich, and fairly true, and to boot the more dynamic dyes (indomitable violet, entoloma blue, julianos white etc) have this wonderful two tone effect where the " gloss="" color'="" (a="" brighter="" violet,="" teal="" and="" blue,="" respectively)="" are="" quite="" strong="" on="" the="" high="" points="" of="" design="" absent="" low="" points.="" if="" art="" team="" is="" looking="" to="" create="" armor="" that="" 'pops'="" they="" should="" consider="" something="" similar,="" instead="" just="" coating="" everything="" in="" shiny="" plastic.="">
