I just started AQ3D and it made a strong first impression. It's very elegant in it's simplicity for an MMO, and has a charming sense of humor. Does it live up to it's fun first impression?1.) Just how grindy is it? I don't mind some grind, as I really enjoy Diablo III, but I believe it's an issue when it goes from feeling satisfying and rewarding, to just feeling like padding.2.) How pay to win is it? Minor pay-to-win elements aren't an automatic deal breaker, but I don't want my enjoyment lessened because I don't spend money.

I'm more inclined to spend money when the microtransactions don't piss me off.3.) How is the community? At first glance everyone seems alright, but that could change later in the game.4.) Anything else notable I should be aware of? What does this game excel at and where does it fail?Thanks to everyone in advance. To my knowledge, there's no P2W.

It's a casual/simple game as you mentioned. I think it's grindy by nature, but the game isn't mean to be played in heavy lengths of time. It's a few minutes here, a few minutes there kind of game. I play it while I'm doing other things on my computer.

It doesn't have the depth that traditional PC mmo's have, but that's part of it's charm.I haven't experienced much of the game community yet, but the peoplein the AQ3D reddit were nice and welcoming.I think this game excels at being simple and in it's dialog. The dialog is short, to the point, and witty,. Grindy as fuck.

You need to grind to unlock everything in the game. Classes take 7 days to unlock if you don't pay for them. Every area have it own items for you to craft, with their own crafting materials. Nah, isn't p2w at all. All classes are good. You pay only por new things, like more bank and inventory space and some cosmetics.

You can unlock 40 bank slots by doing a grindy quest on the main city bank and cosmetic stuff can be obtained by free daily chests and chests that you get by leveling up. The community is really nice. Lot of ppl plays and a lot of new ppl are starting. The only 'problem' is that most of it's community plays on mobile devices, and typing on a mobile device is a pain in the ass. The game is funny, you probably will laugh with some quests and references. The game is updated almost weekly with new content, and the devs really play and make some live events with players. The downside for some ppl (and for me some times) is that the game isn't a deep mmo, with deep skills, combos, deep pvp and (for now) a deep main story.

Every area have it own questline. But, as I said, the game keeps improving every week and probably we'll get some deep content soon.It's a really nice game, but isn't a game that i'd play for hours and hours i think. Sometimes I do, but because of an area storyline, or just grinding, but sometimes i just log in, do a daily grind class quest, get my daily chest and go play bdo mobile or something else.If you want deep content, spend hours and hours playing, this probably isn't your game. If you just wanna have fun, play it, because you'll probably have fun. It's like every game from artix entarteinment, cool jokes, cool references and cool storylines for their quests.​Sorry for any wrong word, english isn't my main language:D.
