A Long Way Down Book Summary

вторник 21 апреля admin 93

The main themes in A Long Way Down is suicide, depression and that there is always hope. I will focus mostly on the last theme in this short analysis. The theme is very clear throughout the novel, but I have chosen this passage from the ending of the book, on page 254:‘So,’ said Jess. ‘Anyone up for going over?’No one said anything, because it wasn’t a serious question any more, so we just smiled.I chose this passage because it shows how much the main characters’ lives have changed since the beginning of the book, where all of them want to jump over the edge. From being suicidal to wanting to live was a long way, but throughout the book, the characters have gradually changed their lives. At the very end of the book, the four of them watch the London Eye.

Half a minute after the end of track 15 plays Surf No Mercy. The album contained fifteen tracks, plus a hidden bonus track. The music tracks can be listened to on.An official soundtrack was released with unique album art designed by Westwood Studios and, like the previous release, featured the official Command & Conquer series logo with the Red Alert series motif below. “It didn’t look as thought it was moving, but it must have been” This is a direct comparison to their lives as they slowly move on, even if it can be hard to tell the difference.Another important message in the book is that your life does not get better by itself, you have to make that change yourself. It is hard to find a specific passage to illustrate this, you have to read the book yourself to see it. While they try to help each other to get going, they have to do the main part for themselves.
